Utilities in this category are legacy stuff. I have finally retired my old server that was running Fedora 8, and will not be building rpms for Fedora 8 anymore.
I have built rpms of clamav 0.97.6 for Fedora 8, by backporting clamav-0.93-1.fc9.src.rpm from Fedora 9 and modifying it to build with clamav-0.97.6.tar.gz.
After adding DKIM signatures on outgoing email, I needed DKIM verification of incoming mail. Reading up I found that version 2.6.0 of amavisd-new includes direct support for DKIM, instead of using the DKIM plug-in in SpamAssassin.
I have built rpms of SpamAssassin for Fedora 8, by backporting spamassassin-3.3.0-5.fc11.src.rpm from Fedora 11 and rebuilding with the latest available version.
